Rumor mill: Glock 20, 21 Finally get the Gen5 Treatment?

Glock introduced their fifth generation pistols in 2017 but in the past half-decade have only announced a dozen models in this new family, all in 9mm and .40S&W.
Well, it looks like for 2023 the company will be giving the Gen5 feature set to two classics from the 1990s— the .45 ACP G21 and the 10mm G20.
Photos from several online retailers are already showing both the G20 and G21 Gen5 MOS (optics ready) so you can expect it to become official from Glock likely just before SHOT Show in January.
It makes sense as folks have been asking for it since the Gen5’s release and both .45 and 10 have kept their popularity over the years– people who run them love them– and the G20/21 use the same sized frames, which means Glock’s outlay in R&D and production cost for one easily translates to the other.
