Daniel Defense debuted their RIII rail system last year. If you know anything about Daniel, you know that they kind of invented the quad rail game, then matured that concept to the RISII series, the latter developed for SOCOM.

The RIII s modeled after the now extensively proven RIS II but runs M-LOK slots which translates into more capability with less weight. RIII still uses the RIS II’s 6-bolt system and the same two-part free-float design, so barrel harmonics and accuracy are not affected.

Introduced for all-up rifles, Daniel is now offering separate RIII upper receiver groups to update your existing AR. They will be offered in three models: a 16-inch barreled DD4, a 14.5-inch M4A1, and a 10.3 MK18, all with a price in the $1,400 range.
